Happy New Year! Wow it's Wednesday already. My the weeks are going by quickly..I was able to visit everyones workspace last week. It was really nice to see some of the gorgeous Holiday Decor! I hope to make it to everyones space this week too.
It will be fun to see how many weeks I can actually do this...my New Year's resolution..lol Never thought I could have this much fun or become so addicted to Julia's Stamping Ground's WOYWW.
My desk has changed a little from the super tidy spot that it was last week. The tidiness kept me away for a week. Now it's time to get comfortable again and start playing with all my stuff. I have been working on lots of projects that I will share in a few weeks when I post them...lol
Can you tell, I am working on a retro project. Can't wait to peek into your workspace! Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs, Marjo

Tidy is no good if it keeps you away! I think mess is needed for the sake of creativity, yay for messiness!
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing your retro creations :-)

I had a sudden urge to break out into flares and crimp my hair when I saw your desk. Then it occurred to me that I remembered rather more of it first time around than I would care to admit...albeit mostly as a small child!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy some retro fun,

Try being really messy..it is depressing but never-the-less, it does seem to promote creativity

ReplyDeleteTidiness is overrated! LOL! Your project looks fun!
ReplyDeleteOh My, visit ALL of them? I'm super impressed.
ReplyDeleteYour project looks fun!
It's funny that tidiness keeps you away....my messy desk sometimes keeps me away! Especially if I had to leave it in a hurry after a project was completed. Prob because I know I have to clean up before starting again. Eventually I'm lured back and my love of sorting kicks back in! Thx for visiting me. Peace out!

Hi Marjo
ReplyDeletethanks for coming to visit my mess! I really appreciate it.
Isn't it funny how the weeks fly by when you join in with this fantastic 'blog hop'... its also great for making new friends too.
Love the 'peace' sign you are working on - such vibrant colours - and also that patterened paper to the right of the desk - fab!

Thank you for stopping by on my blog and for your lovely comments. Marjo, the dreaded lurgy is what everyone over here has got due to the rotten weather - really nasty cold verging on flu/swine flu - the sort of thing that just lays you out for a few days, and leaves you feeling totally wiped out for several weeks. (Just to confuse you, it could also be a nasty virulent tummy bug) My husband has just educated me and told me that lurgy comes from the Goon Show, where there were only three diseases - lurgy, plin and nadgers - you learn something every day.
ReplyDeleteI am off now to create ( I hope) something in my new craft room, I must get something done before Wednesday comes round again.
Thank you for stopping by my work space, it looks nothing like that now mind :) Interested to see what your making, love thos papers on the right of your photo, and wow for making it around all the workspaces, i must try harder hehe xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for the peek at your space. Thanks for stopping by to see mine. What are those markers? Copic or . . .?
