What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday #87

Wow, made it to everyones again, took me a few days.  Once again I had loads of fun visiting.  I tried to leave a comment for everyone, of course word verification may have been a problem.   I only try a few times before I give up...lol

I got a lot of questions about the cardboard I use to protect my cuttlebug plates.  Let me explain, it can't be too thick or you could damage your bug.  I use the cardboard from empty cereal boxes, or any cardboard  that is about that thickness.  Once it has been used you will have to use another piece for your next cut, unless the next cut is smaller.  I usually mange to get several cuts out of one piece.  You can even use the cut out piece of cardboard to add depth or re-enforcement to your DP or cardstock.

Thanks so much to all of you that had time to stop by and leave me such nice comments.  Onto this weeks chaos.  As you can see from my pic, sometimes I like to surrounded myself  with lots of  surfaces...lol  Gives me room to enjoy so many things at once.

All I know for sure is that Julia from the Stamping Ground has turned lots of us into WOYWW addicts!  Once you start there's no stopping..ROFL

Can't wait to see what's on your workdesk!

Thanks for stopping by, my blog candy is still going.   Check out my sidebar if you are interested, it's yummy!

  Hugs, Marjo

  5. Wow that's impressive getting to everyone. I never have the time...and if I did too much secret blogging at work, I might get in trouble lol Those tips about the cuttlebug are great as mine is sitting at the post office waiting for collection :-D Great photo!

  6. That view really puts your desk into perspective, Marjo. I tried to use an old drink coaster and it was so thick it cracked my old Sizzex. I like the idea of cereal type boxes. Now if I only bought something in a box, I'd be in business. (#8)

  13. He he, your area kinda looks surrounded like mine...I too have a TV tray set up to use for an extra surface...on top of the 3 desks I already have...lol! And yes you are awesome for getting around to everyone...I try so hard and never seem to have the time. I was hopping on through until Sunday and still didn't make it to everyone's blog! And by the way, thanks for personally stopping by my blog last week to let me know about the cardboard! Oh and Maddies card is too cute!! Off to go enter your candy! I thought for sure I had already entered your candy, because I so love yummy candy, but I guess not...lol! :D

    Happy Wednesday!!

  30. Gosh, it's like a wee crafting nest or perhaps a crafting cocoon - it looks as though you've got it all within touching distance and a great use of the little TV table when using the Cuttlebug - I never thought of that. Congratulations on getting up early enough to be first and thanks for letting us see your workroom. Elizabeth x #96

  43. Very nice! I usually end up piling stuff up all over my craft room so I can keep it in close proximity to me. I have all sorts of drawers cabinets etc and when I am done they are all empty and they stuff is scattered all over the room. Really sad. Takes me two days to pick up and put away!!

  44. congrats being No 1. Instead of surround sound its surround crafting. Thanks for letting us visit.

  59. I was here honest! But no comment box and no picture, and if I'd said what a lovely pink crafty space you'd think I was colour blind! You're right, word verification is a bummer, coz sometimes I say my bit and go...not realising the codey thing is waiting for me to type it in...and I don't! Great space you have. Love little boxes with little draws. I use card with my bigshot, helps with the embossing when using Nesties...and most times itdoesn't cut through so my card board bits get quite a lot of use.
    Happy Late WOYWW
