OMGosh, I can't believe that it has been two weeks since I was able to join in with WOYWW at Julia's Stamping Ground! Ugg....needless to say I have had major withdrawals...lol It's hard to believe how much I really missed visiting everyone.
I sorta missed my goal of visiting everyone with #88. What can I say, I have been a little overwhelmed with other blogging obligations and life has been a little crazy too...lmao. I will do my best to visit as many as I can because I really enjoy it. It's so much fun to visit, everyone always has so many wonderful creations, news and just goodies to share...I love it.
Who knows maybe things will settle in soon and I will be able to visit everyone again. One can only hope. Can't remember whose blog I saw these awesome Copic storage. She had a wonderful link to them. Of course I can't find the link at this moment. Not sure if you can see them in my pic. They are fantastic....Thanks!!!
As you can see from my pic I have been busy creating. The card I just finished will get a redo...Yippee for undo, I don't like the color of the cardstock I used. I have another project on the right that's almost done. My area seems a little less cluttered and cleaner than usual. I know it's not really my style. I really thrive in a messy space. The little horde (my grand kids) where over and we all crafted soI had to clean up a little...rofl Yes that's baby oil on my desk, using it with colored pencils. Works pretty good too.
A big thank you to all of you that came by to visit and leave a sweet comment last time. Can't wait to see What's on your Workdesk! Oops almost forgot, my blog candy is still on if anyone is interested. The link is on my sidebar.
Hugs, Marjo

Do you really sit on a stool to work? Amazing if so. Me? Mm wheelchair, so not everyone's cup of tea either. Good to hear of another colouring technique - so clever.

Great desk today - not thought of baby oil with pencils... may try that one!
ReplyDeleteGot me intrigued with the baby oil and pencils - something else for me to try - any specific brand of pencil? Just thinking that some are softer than others etc.
ReplyDeleteLove how creative your desk is and do I spy something PINK?
Busy desk! I have been using baby glycerin enemas diluted with water in a water brush for my pencils. I sounds gross but it works well and I like the effect! I also use it in a refillable paint pen as a blender pen. Thanks for sharing. Vickie #49
ReplyDeleteYour space always looks so cozy and inviting! And lots of fabulous stash about too!
ReplyDeleteBaby oil? I am guessing it is to blend the colours? Have you tried watercolor colored pencils? They are fun too!

Baby oil with pencils? Now that does sound intriguing. Please show us the results next week!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I am a messy crafter too! I don't dare take pics of my desk because other than having my computer on it, you can't even tell that it's a desk. I'd love to know more about your baby oil and colored pencil technique.
