Celebrate the Season

Hi Everyone!

Haha fooled ya...it's a Christmas project....all done with Halloween!  Our theme this week over at One Stitch At A Time is " Christmas".   That's perfect timing for me.  I need to get caught up on my Christmas card production.

I decided to make a post it note organizer.  It will be a perfect gift.  This week I got to play with one of Stitchy's digis called "Dark Angel".  You can check out all her great digis at SBDS.

I used my Copics to color my image, used my Cuttlebug with my Nesties, TH Flower Die, Snowflake Embossing folder and my MS corner punch.  Distressed the flower and die edges added a pearl, some bling.  Used my Crop-a-dile to insert a grommet to reinforce the paper so that the weight of the mini-pen wouldn't rip it.

Pumpkin Pillow Box

Hi Everyone,

Yep, I am still making Halloween projects....you know I just love the costumes and fun stuff...lol  I made these for my clients.  This is the last batch of them so I got a little lazy and they don't all have colored images on them...oops..

Our theme for the next two weeks at Simply Create is can you guess..."Pumpkins".  I used one of our Sponsor's cute little pumpkin digi's .

I used all my favorite tools, Copics, Cuttlebug with Nesties & embossing folders and ribbon that has been in my stash for eons.

Halloween Treasure Chests

Hi Everyone!

Wow, just finishing up with my last batch of Halloween Treasure Chests.  These are all for the girls I work with.  They were loads of fun to make...have I told you all how much I love Halloween!

Everything I used came from my stash and is at least over a year old.  The chests are surprisingly sturdy and can hold a lot of candy...lol.

Yummylicious candy stuffed inside...hopefully the candy doesn't get eaten before I deliver the chests to my friends...yikes!

I kept the design pretty simple, no stamped images.  I wanted the cute Halloween DP to take center stage with the embellies.  They all have been stamped with Happy Halloween or Happy Haunting on the attached tags.

All the ghoulish embellishments are from the dollar store or Michael's.  I used MS punches to create the edges, and the handles.

I used my cuttlebug and embossing folders to emboss the bases.  Ended up using a boatload of scor tape.  I don't want them falling apart.

What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday 125

Hi Everyone!

It's WOYWW time over at Julia's, the Stamping Ground.  Yikes it's almost 2 AM my time...I will be off to bed as soon as I post and link this...lol

Well, what can I say..my workspaces are total disasters.  I have several Halloween projects running amok all over the place!  I am going to finish them all when I wake up.  Lucky me, I have the day off.

On the table are the treat treasure chests in progress, on my desk are pillow boxes in progress and a shaker box I am playing with.  The last of the treasure chests will go to my co-workers and I needed more pillow boxes for my client's.

I was hoping I would get everything done before bed...haha  Have to get some sleep, don't want to have to use up all my "Undo".

Can't wait to go on blog-about and check out your workspace!   Thanks for stopping by, bunches of hugs

Enter if You Dare!

Hi Everyone,

It's Sunday and time for our new challenge at One Stitch At A Time.  Our theme this week is "Embossing"  easy peasy right...  Well silly me I kinda spaced off the theme and altered a candle...lol  Yikes no way to add any embossing to that.

What's a girl to do!  I  made an embossed easel card and added my candle to it.  I got to play with Reeces Scrap Pieces cute little digi called "Haunted House".  You can see all of  April's collection at StitchyBear Digital Stamps.

I used all my favorite tools, PrismaMarkers, Watercolor Pencils, Tissue paper, Cuttlebug, Haunted House Embossing Folder, sanding block and my heat gun.

What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday 124

Hi Everyone!

It's WOYWW time over Julia's blog  the Stamping Ground.  It's time to get nosey and see what's on work desks all over the world.  Before I share whats on my work desk this Wednesday I thought I would share a few of the projects that were WIP's for the last 2 WOYWW posts.

The first one is one of the candles I was working on last week.  The second one is my very first "Stitched Project"  My little Janome sewing machine has only been used on paper...lol

My workspace today is ready to finish off a few projects that I started at our last crop.  Lorraine showed us how to turn unused stamp blocks into "Tim Holtz" wanna be stamp pads.  Just glue 2 of them together with some velcro.  Hey it works... She also shared her Alcohol Inks and showed us a couple of techniques.

Thanks for stopping by and having a peek, can't wait to go on blog-about and see whats on your workdesk!
