Home Tweet Home

Hi Everyone!
It's time for our new challenge at Simply Create Too . Our theme this time is "Anything but a Card!  

I made this cute little altered birdhouse a few months ago.  A big Thanks to Alma Jean who hosted a 4 Day weekend plus crop.  Lots of projects and lots of yummy food.

Gifted this cutie to my mother and she loves it!


Decided the house needed some shredded paper.




Thanks to all the wonderful ladies for sharing all their goodies...I know they all want to use up their stash just like me.  My flower and ric rak supply got a bit smaller...lol

Christmas in July!


Hi Everyone!
It's time for our new challenge at Simply Create Too. Our theme this time is a fun one and not one to expect in the midst of summer!  Here we go it's time for "Christmas in July"!


Ok I'm wrong, there seems to be a lot of Christmas in July going on!  I made these cute Treat Book Boxes for some special folk...oops too early to tell who.  


Not only are the insides cute, the added paper just makes them stronger.  And you know me, any chance to use my cuttlebug, embossing folders and some MS punches make my day!   I made a book size memory box a while a go.  You can view it here



Sometime ago Gail showed our Krafty Ladies group a larger version of these boxes that were inspired by Butternut Sage Designs.  I changed it up to make it smaller and easier to create..lol

Celebrate the 4th of July!



Hi Everyone!
It's time for our midway reminder for our current challenge at Simply Create Too.  There is still plenty of time to join in! Our theme is "Use the Colors of your Country's Flag".

Mine are Red, White & Blue for the USA!  I used this cute little digi that you can get at the Stamping Boutique.  Once again everything came from my endless stash supply!

Male Golf Card


Hi Everyone!
It's time for our new challenge at Simply Create Too. Our theme this time is Father's Day or Male.

I made this card with goodies from my endless stash.  Ugh, will it ever get all used up!!!!  This came with Papercraft Essentials subscription.

It's another easy peasy no brainer card.  Cut it out and slap it together on a base.  Comes in handy if your creativity goes south..lol

It even has a sleeve for the tag.  It would be a good idea to adhere the tag to something stronger.  The paper is very thin and useless otherwise.

Stationary Purse


Hi Everyone!
It's time for our new challenge at Simply Create Too. Our theme this time is Bingo!  I followed O, I just love to sew....lol

I made this stationary purse for my mother, gotta say she just loves it.  I filled it with 8 cards and envelopes.  Some of them are pretty thick so I adjusted my measurements.

Used more of my endless supply of stash and some of my favorite tools.  I used a sun stamp purchased at a yard sale.



I upcycled my handles from some old gift bags and some chipboard leftovers.  I am entering my purse into the following challenges:

Aubree's Birthday Card


Hi Everyone!
It's time for our midway reminder at Simply Create Too. Our theme this time is everyone's favorite, "Anything Goes"

I made this cute little Tri-Shutter card for little Aubree's Birthday.   I used all my stash, got out my little Janome sewing machine and had a blast creating.

You can find great tutorials all over You Tube and SplitCoast Stampers, this one was my favorite  tutorial here.  


The cute little digi stamp is from Stichy Bear Stamps, I just love her!  Looks like my sewing is improving..haha


Absolutely love my polka dot and stripe DP from SU.  Got to use just about all my tools too.

Baby



Hi Everyone!


It's time for our midway reminder for our current challenge at Simply Create Too.  There is still plenty of time to join in! Our theme is "All About Babies".



Since so many of my friends and clients are having babies I decided to make these cute little square flip up books.  they are similar to the Circle Flip up books.  Stacia showed us how to make them square and with a twist.



You can find a video tutorial for the circle ones here and at SplitCoast Stamples.  We made them square instead and with a twist added a  pocket.






 I used all goodies from my endless stash.  These can be made any size you want.  I love how they turned out.
