Happy St Paddy's Day

Hi Everyone!

It's time for our new challenge at Simply Create Too.  Our theme this time is a fun one "I'm so Lucky".  OMGosh can you believe that St Paddy's day is just around the corner.

I found this cute little guy in my stash of printed digis that I have for the kiddo's to create with.   I thought he would be perfect.  Think this little cutie will be going to my Mom.

I used all my fave tools to create my card.  Cuttlebug to cut my nesties and emboss.  Dried my stickles to make them look like gold on the balloon.  My Copics, and some brads.

I will be entering my card into the following challenges:

Hope to see you all join in the fun at Simply Create Too!

Ye be me best Treasure Matey!

Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.  I am so ready for Spring to be here.  I can hear the birdies starting to chirp in the mornings and the hummingbirds are back..yahoo!!!

I made this card for a friend to give to her son.  I used some of the new digis that Teri of Delicious Doodles just added not long ago.  You can find them at SBDS.  I used Pirate Pete and Treasure Map.

I kept the design pretty simple since it is for a teenage boy...lol  Can't have anything too girly now can we.  I stained and aged the map with left over coffee and distressed the heck out of it.   Love the pirate skull & crossbones that I added.

I do think it came out pretty good, I am entering him into the following challenges:
