Happy Holiday's Christmas in July Card

I broke down and inked up my Tilda with presents.  I have no clue who she is going to, way to early in the year to think about it.  I am still in summer mode!  This is actually the first Xmas card that I have made.  My last creation was a tropical ornament, and didn't seem like a holiday project.  I didn't start making cards until February of this year.  I am sure that by the time the holiday's do get here I will be a much better card maker.  I have loads of stuff ready for the holiday's.  Michael's had a fantabulous sale and I went crazy...lol  I forgot how much stash I really have.  I entered her into the following challenges:

Everything came from my stash.  Here's what I used to create my card:

  • Martha Stewart butterfly punch
  • Copic Markers
  • White Ribbon
  • 2 flowery Red buttons

Luau Christmas Ornament

Say it isn't so! Xmas in July.  Where is the year going.  I really hate the idea that the holidays are right around the corner.  I am just starting to enjoy summer.  Oh well, it is what it is.  I really wasn't going to create anything for "Xmas in July".  I am not ready to think that far ahead yet.  I am a lousy early Xmas planner, shopper etc.  If I buy anything now I am sure to duplicate it or forget where I stashed it...LOL  Any how one of my client's gave me a Scenspiratations candle.  Naturally is has a lovely Hawaiian scent and the box is very tropical.  I knew I wanted to reuse it and make something with it.  I have had it for a few months and decided to turn it into an ornament.  It is light enough to hang on our tree and will add a sunny Luau flavor to our snowy weather in December.  Who doesn't want to be in Kona during the holiday's!  I entered this into the following challenges:

Anyone for Anya Be Dazzled
Anya Ink  Xmas in July
Charisma Cardz Anything but Square
Fab'n'Funky Reuse/ Recyle
Incy Wincy Alter Something
Kaboodle It's a Luau
LaLa Land Craft's Up Clycle It
Magical Crafts Christmas in July
Ooh La La Creations Christmas in July
Sunday's with Chrissy Christmas in July

Here's what I used to create my ornament:

Candle box bottom
Cardstock scraps
Hula Anya
Luau flowers
Copic Markers
Stickles
