What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday? 86

OMgosh not sure what happened last week, I messed up  and may have skipped a few. I am sorry if I missed your posting.  I tried to stop by the ones I thought I skipped.  Guess that's what happens from time to time.  I know of only one that had a bad link that I could not find.

Once again I had loads of fun visiting everyone.  A big thank you to all that came by to visit and left such nice comments.  My post will be short and sweet.

On my workspace this week is the start of a new project, of course I am using my cuttlebug.. The cardboard you see is only used to protect my plates, I don't like all the cutting lines and I hate replacing plates...lol

This is the retro project now completed, posted on Sunday.  Had a great time making it.

Thanks for stopping by, can't wait to see what everyone's workdesk!  Oops almost forgot, if you want to join in all the fun hop on over to Julia's at the Stamping Ground.

What's on your Workdesk Wednesday? #85

Wow, another week bites the dust!  Once again visited everyones blog...lol  Had loads of fun too, I just love the diversity in the types of crafts, and whatevers I see.

I did have  some difficulty entering Julia's WOYWW at the Stamping Ground.   last week.  The difficulty was all my won fault..I was in such a hurry to enter that I linked back to the Stamping Ground!  Naturally I couldn't delete the bad link so I entered again with a corrected link...hahaha.  I noticed that quite a few of us must have had similar issues.  Luckily Julia deleted most of the messed up ones.  I left the wrong number on my comments, didn't realize my number would change...guess deleting the bad links does change our numbers, oh well made for some excitement.

Mega thanks to everyone that managed to stop by last week and make such sweet comments.  Maddie and I loved reading all of them.

Alrighty then on to this week.  My desk is full of paper stacks.  I am starting a new project and need to find just the right paper.  I am hoping that the right paper will give me some inspiration!

The digis and stamps on the left are leftover from the girls on Sunday.  Some of them are blurry, my rule is only Nana throws things from her crafting area in the trash!
Here's what I was working on last week

Here's what the girls made for their Dad's Birthday
Here's my Blog Candy

Click the pick if you want a chance to win it!

Sorry for the long post, thanks for stopping by.  Can't wait to visit and see what's on your workdesks this week!  Psst might not make it to all of them right away... I try to do at lease 50 a day...did I mention that I have blisters on my fingertips...or that I stay up until there are close to 50 entered...ugg I am really an addict!

Prairie Fairy DT Call

I made this Scrapbook page for  my book,  and Roberta at the Prairie Fairy is looking for  5 new FAIRY PRINCESSES to invite to their little meadow.  It was loads of fun to make some scrap pages.  We haven't done so in ages.  Maddie and I are a little rusty.

We have decided it is time to get back to it.  Our goal this year will be to make several pages a month.  This is the first time we have added colored stamps to our pages!  It definitely makes infinite possibilities.  We will however stick with traditional pages.  Wouldn't it be fun if we both made the team...lol

Check it out if you get the chance. You can get this wonderful freebie too, not to mention all the gorgalicious digis and goodies in her shop.  I gotta admit her DT makes beyond gorgeous creations and I am addicted to her Gilly Line  You can find it all at Prairie Fairy Designs

The girls alway's give us 5 x 7 pics of the grandkids.  Since we don't have room to keep all of them hung on the walls they need to be scrapped.  Their size doesn't leave a lot of room to embellish so I kept it pretty simple.  Soon we will have another baby, that will make 6 grandkids to love!

I am entering my page into the following challenges:

Here's what I used to create this page:
  • Copic Markers
  • I Love You! Garage sale stamp
  • Red Polka Dot DP (won from Chelsea)
  • 6" Heart Doily's
  • Pearls
  • Cardstock
  • Sponge & Ink
  • Funky Scissors
  • Corner Rounder
Thanks for looking, hugs Marjo

Oops almost forgot, don't forget to enter for a chance to win my blog candy, just click the pic for the post to enter..Good Luck!

What's on your Workdesk Wednesday? #84

My goodness this week just flew by, almost forgot it was almost Wednesday.  I managed to visit everyone last week, Yippee!  Took me a little longer to get around to everyone, life just got in the way..hahaha.  Hopefully I can do better this week.

Thanks to those that explained to me what "lurgy" means...lol  Seems it's come across the pond too!  I have had it several times..poor DH has it now.  Hopefully it doesn't go around again it would mean the 4th time for me ..yuk.  Maybe that's what I get for getting my first ever flu shot.

Once again I really enjoyed seeing all the creative workspaces.  Noticed a lot of newbies, guess that means I'm not the new kid on the blog anymore..lmao.

Little Maddie spent this last weekend with us and of course we made some projects.  I will let you guess which ones are her's..just kidding.  Maddie made the Dragon Card and Fairy Bag, she does pretty good for a 9 year old.  I only had to help her with the folds of the bag.  The other 2 cards are mine.  I will take be taking pics of these later this week to upload to our blogs.  Yeah, she wanted her own blog too.

I just love the new MS punch around the page set, they make the cutest border(on the lavendar card).    The following pics ar what I was working on several weeks ago.  Finally got to post them on Sunday.

Gotta hurry Julia at The Staming Ground has posted.  Thanks for stopping by, can't wait to see What's on your Workdesk this week.

Hugs, Marjo
