Happy Haunting Treat Bag

Hi Everyone!

I am so excited about this project.  Don't you just love this little Treasure Chest.  Our theme at Simply Create is to use "Something Older than 6 Months".  Everything except the DP  including my tools is over 6 months old.

All of my embellishments, tags, MS punches are over a year old.  The Happy Haunting Stamp I scored at a garage sale over 2 years ago.  Thanks Lorraine for teaching us how to make these at our last crop and providing the yummy DP!

I love my MS Spiderweb punches!  I embossed the base of my treasure chest with my Spiderweb embossing folder.  Distressed the tag with really old ink..  I added eyelets and ribbon to the handles and sides to make sure the card stock doesn't tear.  The box is closed with Velcro dots.

I am entering my little treasure chest into the following Challenges:

Hope to see you all join in the fun at Simply Create

What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday 121

Hi Everyone!

Yikes, I have been on blog-about and have been unable to post a majority of my comments!  I will be going round later...hopefully it will be fixed by then.

It's WOYWW time over at the Stamping Ground.  My workspace this week does look a bit better.  I did manage to clean it up some.

I have been playing with my little sewing machine.  I have had it for more than a year and decided it was high time I learned how to use it...lol

Thank goodness for You Tube Videos!  Now I just need to figure out how to make nice circles and ovals...yikes.

Can't wait to go on blog-about and see whats on everyone's work desk.  Thanks for stopping by, bunches of hugs

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Hi Everyone!

Ok, no laughing...I finally busted out my little Jenome Mini sewing machine.  It's been sitting in the box for over a year!  Yikes I even had to find tutorials on You Tube since I am clueless when it comes to sewing...lol

Three tutorials later and I am sewing on cards. Don't look to close or you might get dizzy, my lines are far from straight. I couldn't bring myself to throw away my not sew perfect pieces so they are on my card...lol

It's Sunday and time for our new challenge at OSAAT,  the theme this week is "Favorites".  I got to use a Barbara Jensen digi called "Shy Girl".   She will be available in the store as soon as all the creators finish uploading all their digis to the new and improved StitchyBear Digital Stamps.

I used all my favorite tools and goodies to create my Tri Shutter card.  My most favorite things when I create are my Copics and my Cuttlebug.  I love, love my Copics and it just wouldn't be one of mine if it didn't have some sort of Nestie or embossing on it.  I love to use my punches to create my own flowers too.

When I return from Girl Scout Camp with Maddie I will enter my card into the following challenges:
Hope you can join in the fun at OSAAT, our Random winner will get 3 digis from Digis With Attitude.

Bite Me Dahling

Hi Everyone,

Just have to share another Halloween card I made.  Isn't she just too cute to be a Villian.  She's one of Stitchy's "Bite me Dahling" digis.  Shes not available back in the store yet as they are busy rebuilding and adding back the lost data...

I used all my forvorite tools and goodies to create my card.  I guess you have all guessed by now that Halloween cards are one of my favs to make...lol

One Tequila...

Hi Everyone,

Just a quickie post.  I made this step card for a friends Birthday.  She has a fab sense of humor and she loved it!  We just got home from her party...lol

I didn't have much time to make it since I forgot!!!!  No I didn't use the scraps from all my Halloween leftovers.  These are actually the Beavers (OSU)  team colors...lol  The sentiment says "One Tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor!"

Whats on Your Workdesk? Wednesday 120

Hi Everyone!

I  can hardly  believe how  much time has flown by since I last joined in all the fun!  Yikes I haven't visited since April.    Although life is still a bit crazy I felt the need to join in this week.    I have truly missed being part of WOYWW's over at The Stamping Ground.    I sure missed visiting everyone.

My work area is truly a jumble of who knows what...can you tell that I have not cleaned up my area lately....The last card I made right on top of all this stuff...lol  I was in such a hurry and didn't have time to make room first.  Guess that's what I get for forgetting a good friends Birthday!

We just got home from her party and this is what my crafting area will look like when I wake up.  I still have high hopes that the crafting fairies will come by and clean up the mess while I sleep.  Only in my dreams right?

The last time I mentioned helping my DH with Stencils for his tailgating Winnebeavo...thought I would share these pics...lmbo  It's an old old Winnebago...renamed Winnebeavo in honor of the OSU Beaver football team and tailgating (party before, during and after the game...)

Thanks for stopping by, can't wait to go on blog about!  Bunches of hugs,

I used all my most fav tools & toys and the Cake digi is from Prairy Fairy Designs.   My new GC really sped up cutting out all my Nesties.  I did use my Cuttlebug to emboss the dies...yikes can't abandon my Cuttlebug yet.  Colored with my Copic's, distressed with some SU ink and sponges.   Used a couple of my EK punches and added some Polka dotted ribbon that I have been hoarding.

BFF Card

Hi Everyone!

I had loads of fun making this card.  I got to play with my newest toy...my new Grand Calibur.  Gotta tell you I love it!   I was able to get all my die cuts done  in record time.  Pretty awesome.

This card will go to one of my dog loving friends.  I really like how this card came out.  Love my little BFF yard sale stamp, it goes well with Glitterbabes Best Friends digi.

I got to use my favorite crafting tools:  Copics, my flower/scallop punches, Nesties, Embossing folders, my Cuttlebug, new fav Grand Calibur.  I rediscovered some of  my forgotten stash.  I have had the dog, bone & heart wooden buttons, twine and yarn forever.

I distressed all the edges with some SU Ink and sponges.  My DP is from DCWV paper stack I purchased a few years ago...  yikes gotta start using up my old stash...lol

"Believe in Me"

Hi Everyone!

have a few minutes in my day and thought I would post this really fun magnet I made with one of Stitchy's cute little digis Flight of Fantasy Silhouette.

I just  love how easy it was to make.  I printed my image onto magnetic photo paper that I have had for years;  added my sentiment, ran it through the Cuttlebug with my nesties, and sponged the edges.

Aren't my grand son and daughter just the gorgeous!

Just Daves "Winnebeavo"

Hi Everyone,

Just sharing a project of my hubbies.  He bought this old 1976 Winnebago.  He wanted to convert it into his "Winnebeavo"...lol   It is now his tailgating party bus...lmbo x 10

Needless to say he enlisted my help.   He never really showed an interest in my crafting.  Then he asked me to make him some stencils with my Cricut.  Surprise, surprise.  Now he even saves and gives me the sales ads for Michaels and Joannes ..haha

Anyway, I have entered this into a contest on facebook and need some votes.  Here's the link  http://apps.facebook.com/offerpop/Contest.psp?c=25394&u=8946&a=100142423390621&p=25495618126&v=Entry&id=74245&rest=1
