OSAAT Challenge #43 / Santa Baby 3-D DT Ornament

Here we go gang....it's Sunday December 12th!  It's my first post as one of the new DT's at One Stitch At A Time!   I am super excited and terrified at the same time..lol.   I know my hand will be shaking when I click "Publish Post".

Our theme is "SURPRISE, SURPRISE", it's a free for all, just do and make anything you want!  It's an easy challenge so just have fun with it.  Hop on over to the OSAAT Challenge blog  and check out all the other wonderful DT creations.

Hopefully  everyone will have time to enter for a chance to win a $10.00 Gift Voucher from our Sponsor  One Stop Card Crafts.  The Holiday Challenge will run to Jan 9th.  Along with the One Stop Prize there will be quite a few "Surprise"  prizes too!  We look forward to seeing everyones entries.

Don't forget if you spend over $10.00 in the shop you will get the Collaboration Set for free...wow! There are plenty of wonderful digi's to choose from.  Lots of artists and plenty of styles. There is even a Kids Korner, perfect little digi's for all those young crafters playing at Stitchy Bear Kids Monthly Challenge Blog.

My "Surprise" creation is a 3-D Ornament!  I have been making loads of these little types of ornaments, they make wonderful little gifts.  For my Design Team project this week I got to choose one of Barbara Jensen's gorgeous digi images.  I just had to pick "Cranberry", she's kinda sassy and most definitely naughty...   She makes a spicy little ornament.   Little eyes might not want to scroll down any further...lol  You can find all of Barbara's gorgeous digi's at Stitchy Bear Stamps.

I would love to enter my ornament into the following challenges:

Here's what I used to create my Ornament:
  • Barbara Jensen's "Cranberry" digi from Stichy Bear Stamps (paper pieced bodice, hair & hat)
  • Santa Baby computer generated sentiment
  • Cuttlebug, Snowflake( triangle panels) & Swiss Dots (bodice) Embossing folders
  • Crop-a-dile (to attach green & white eyelets..to protect card stock)
  • MS Snowflake Punch around the Page Set
  • Small Scallop Punch
  • Copic Marker's
  • Frosted Lace Stickels
  • Red Ribbon
  • Black Lacing to add more dimension to her bodice
  • Green Brad (to secure ornament in place when not folded for storage)
  • 3 1/4" Squares of red, green & white card stock
  • Red ink & sponge
Hope I remembered everything, can't wait to see them on every ones tree!  Thanks for stopping by and looking.  Comments are always appreciated....

Hugs, Marjo

Looks like little Ms. Cranberry is very popular!  All the "friends"of my friends want one too!   Had to make them with the requested hair colors...lol  Here's one of them.  They are not paper pieced this time...
