Birth Card/Mini Album

Made this card for one of my client's.  She is due this spring and having a girl.  I will add her name as soon as she is born..they have picked one already but we all know how baby names change with the wind..lol   I got booted with one of my entries...entered into too many challenges..oops!  So this project will be entered to replace the one that got kicked to the curb.. I will stick with 10 or less.  It is a challenge just to keep up with the challenges.  Not only is this a Birthday Card it is also a little mini album.  I love the way it turned out.  I will be making similar ones for all my friends and client's that are going to have babies.  I will be entering one that I am still working on for a little boy.  They will all be different, I will probably use the stork and baby for all the fronts.  These will be something that I will make in advance and add the names later.  I used cereal boxes to cut them out with my cricut.  I will continue to list the challenges and recipes. I think I will be able to keep better track that way.  I am entering this project into the following challenges.

Here's what I used:

  • Toilet Paper rolls

  • Cricut & Gypsy, New Arival and ?? to cut out chipboard & cardstock(stork, baby, diaper and tags)

  • Yellow, Pink and Purple Stickles

  • New Dollar Store Baby Charms

  • Crop-a-dile to make holes and attach eyelets

  • Loose Leaf Ring to Attch Rolls and Charms

  • Cereal Boxes for the chipboard base of Stork, Baby in Diaper

  • Peachy Keen Stamp for the Baby Face

  • Hero Arts Stamp (?) Little Diva,  Bunny, Does this Diaper, etc.

  • Cuttlebug and lots of Embossing folders for the Tags inside the Rolls

  • Chipboard Embelishments from Dollar Store
Hope I got it all and don't get booted this tiime.  Thanks for looking.  Appreciate the comments.

And your wish is granted lol! Mr Linky is coming in from Mondays challenge :) The reason we didnt have it before is that we're designed for newer cardmakers and bloggers and when we started at least half the challenge blogs were the comments system so we used it so people learnt how to whereas now about 95% are mr linky or similar so we're changing over as theres not much need to learn the other way anymore.

Which blog kicked you off? I've heard of blogs where you CANT combine (I know of 2) but its usually you can or cant, never seen an upper limit put on it! You should enter it into pile it on this week as its pastels so counts and they positively encourage entering as many as you can lol!

Its a sweet little project with clearly a lot of time put into it, lovely :)

Many thanks for joining us at crafty cardmakers where youre welcome to combine with as many as you like lol!
