OMgosh not sure what happened last week, I messed up and may have skipped a few. I am sorry if I missed your posting. I tried to stop by the ones I thought I skipped. Guess that's what happens from time to time. I know of only one that had a bad link that I could not find.
Once again I had loads of fun visiting everyone. A big thank you to all that came by to visit and left such nice comments. My post will be short and sweet.
On my workspace this week is the start of a new project, of course I am using my cuttlebug.. The cardboard you see is only used to protect my plates, I don't like all the cutting lines and I hate replacing plates...lol
This is the retro project now completed, posted on Sunday. Had a great time making it.
Thanks for stopping by, can't wait to see what everyone's workdesk! Oops almost forgot, if you want to join in all the fun hop on over to Julia's at the Stamping Ground.
Hugs, Marjo

Hi Marjo - the retro reminds me of Bob Marley for some reason...
Oh my I remember my high school days when I used to wear wide pants in the most garish colors! I put the peace sign everywhere too! Patsy from

Very posh looking Cuttlebug... do you always cut with some extra card? I've never heard of doing that before... sounds interesting!

Love your pink bug, mine is just the plain green one - still it works so I will be satisfied for now. The retro card brings back a lot of memories.
Your retro card is fabulous! I love the flowers especially!
And the pink Cuttlebug is so cute! The flourish on the front is pretty. I have the green one and it works great, so I don't have an excuse to get the pink one I guess, lol.
Happy WOYWW!
Your retro project looks fab, lots of work in it.
Fun retro project. Never thought of protecting my plates with cardboard, they do get badly scarred don't they? We're all done and dusted an back home now, legal for another 10 years.

smacking my forhead!! I hate the cut lines on the plates too, and NEVER thought to use a piece of cardboard!!
What a cool retro card!! I love your idea of using cardboard on the cutting plates - I had those lines as well!
Thanks for stopping by earlier.
Why do we hate messing up our cutting plates!!! I do too and only use one for cutting into, the other is all clean and beautiful! Love the cardboard idea.

great card - love the peace sign and flower power flowers! happy WOYWW!
Hmmm so a peace of cardboard protects the plates??? Must test that theory! My plates look quite bad and it is hard to find B plates so I am getting a bit desperate! Your desk looks busy and I really like your retro project!
Hugs,
Cardarian

Wonderfully colourful project! Love the shape you used for your journalling - is that cut with the Cuttlebug? And you have what looks like a great collection of pens ...
Oh Marjo the retro card is fantastic, you have such fab ideas. I can't wait to see the project your working on finished. Thanks for worrying about me, even I was worried about me!!! Lol. I really missed everyone. I'm going to work on your email this weekend, I'd also like to get emails to say when the crafters I follow make a post. Is this possible? Thanks for all your help, I've been so lucky meeting such wonderful people who like to help.
Thanks so much for commenting on my first venture into WOYWW Marjo! I should have guessed you'd also have a pink CB - so cute aren't they. And, like others, I never thought about protecting that poor scarred plate with card!
Love your blog! Di x
HI Marjo great retro card. :) Your desk looks a hive of activity. Have fun.xx
Love your card, it's so groovy! Judith xx
Hi Marjo - I am feeling retro today - been working in purple and orange - very popular in the early seveties - in fact I have a tie dyed long silk dress I made in 73 - in those colours!!!
love your card! have to try the cardboard on my plates really would save on replacing plates.

Awesome groovy card! And I never thought of using cardboard for a buffer to the plates. I don't like the cutting lines either and I have a b plate that will be do to break any day now. Question though...does the cardboard affect the thickness of the way everything moves through? I would be afraid of breaking my cuttlebug.
Happy be-lated WOYWW and
Thanks for the peek! :D
